3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

First Day: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU- BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY

A SIX-HOUR DRIVE

You will travel in comfort in a contemporary air-conditioned minibus on a fascinating and thrilling tour through the eastern part of Morocco. At 7:15 a.m., our guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech and take you to the departure location. As we approach the Kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou, we will cross the Atlas Mountain range.

The Kasbah, of which there are six inside a walled city, is a marvel. You’ll nearly feel as though you’ve traveled back in time to the era of gladiators, nomadic people of the desert, and old marketplaces.

The first day’s lunch will be consumed in the Kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou following the conclusion of the guided tour.

On the first day, Ouarzazate will be our next stop. We’ll take in the sights of a city where a number of big-budget motion pictures have been shot. The city that is frequently referred to as “The Gateway to the Desert” has been the setting for several movies, including classics like The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia.

Before continuing on to the Dades Valley, we may stop at a café at the gateway city to the desert. After arriving, you may unwind and unwind in a private guesthouse in Dades with a private toilet while savoring a delicious Moroccan evening meal.

Second Day: BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGE – and MERZOUGA

4 HOUR ROAD TRIP

We will eat a hearty breakfast at our accommodation the next morning before departing for the Todra Gorge. The Todra Gorge is so breathtaking and has such amazing beauty that you wonder why it isn’t on the list of global wonders. On the second day, we will continue to Merzouga after lunch.

The Night at a Camp in the Desert

Merzouga is located right in the middle of the desert. At this point, we will mount our camels and ride across the Erg Chebbi Dunes before arriving at the Berber desert camp to spend the night resting. Before we start our final day of travel back to Marrakesh, you’ll have dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning in the desert camp.

Third Day: 9 HOUR DRIVE FROM MERZOUGA TO OUARZAZATE – THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS, AND MARRAKECH

Our camels will take us back to Merzouga, where we will take in the views at Rissani before making our way back via the Draa Valley. The castles, gates, and temples in this area feature Moroccan architecture that is worthy of several photo possibilities.

We go via Nqob and Tamnougalt on the last stage of this excursion before returning to Ouarzazate. Before returning to Marrakech to complete our adventure, we can stop for lunch at any café before traveling back via the Atlas Mountains. It’s planned to arrive in Marrakech at 8:00 p.m.
